Living with a tiny bedroom can be a big challenge. How are you supposed to craft a restful, clutter-free room when there’s no space for your stuff? It’s even worse if your customization options are limited. Luckily, there are a number of ways to sneakily add small amounts of storage to any bedroom.
For example, a few baskets under the bed are a great place to stash your clutter, and unlike your traditional under-bed storage, they’re actually nice to look at. If your bed doesn’t have enough clearance for baskets, you could try flat drawers instead. If you want to add a bit of style to your room while adding storage, a shelf mounted near the ceiling is a great place to display nice-looking belongings that don’t get a lot of use. A shelf over the door can be even more surprising and unique!
If your closet doesn’t provide you with as much room as you’d like, there are plenty of slim-profile, free-standing wardrobes out there. Place one on either side of your bed for symmetry, and they can look almost built-in! A clothes bar in the corner can also provide a little extra storage for your garments, and is a perfect place to keep the things you intend to wear the next day!
