Not only does it provide you with a bit of much-needed storage, but the open space underneath it will visually enlarge your room. You can also hang shelves that run the length of your room. You won’t lose any floor real estate, and you’ll gain a ton of storage space. A deep enough wall-mounted shelf can even double as a desk if you build it at the right height! A basic nightstand can also double as a small desk in a pinch. If you’re still looking for more storage, you can always mount shelves or even cabinets above your headboard!
