Having a trendy bedroom design is fun, but if you try taking on too many trends at once you’ll end up with a cluttered, unfocused room. If you never try anything new, though, you’ll end up with a boring bedroom. Which trends should you try out for yourself, and which can you safely leave by the wayside?
Layering patterns is an emerging trend in 2016, and while it can seem daunting to mix up patterns without clashing, it can be made easy by using distinctly different types of patterns. By layering, you can add and take away pieces until you have a bedroom that feels just right. Another up-and-coming trend that can look great in a bedroom is color-blocked walls. Rather than painting walls one solid color, this style allows you to have a little fun and be creative with your paint job.
